Windows Codename Willam was the codename for Windows Server 2005, and the extremely down roots for Windows 7...Willam was involved in the longest Microsoft Development process ever, 2 years longer than Longhorn/Vista's development took, on January 17, 1998 the extremely long development process started with Build 289...Build 289 largely resembled the January 1998 Windows 98 pre-release...the codebase was then changed to Windows 2000's codebase in Early 2000...this is a wip...
